The MyFitnessPal connection to Trainerize requires your clients to have a MyFitnessPal account created and set up already before connecting. Trainerize authentication uses the login credentials of a client’s MyFitnessPal account to authorize the connection between Trainerize and MyFitnessPal.

 

How To Share Your MyFitnessPal Meal Diary In Trainerize

Ensure your Diary is Public and Turn Diary Syncing On

In your MyFitnessPal app, go to “Settings” > “Sharing and Privacy” > “Diary Sharing” and then select “Public” from the list of options. 
Next, go to your Trainerize app under “More” > “Connect Apps and Devices” > “MyFitnessPal” and then select “Enable Diary Share”. 

 

How to Change Calorie & Macronutrient Goals in Myfitnesspal 

Website Users

  • Log in to https://www.myfitnesspal.com in a web browser
  • Click “My Home”, then “Goals”, then select Edit for Daily Nutrition Goals, Fitness, or Micronutrients
  • Once you’ve made your changes make sure to click “Save Changes”, those same changes will then appear in the app the next time the app syncs to the website

In our Android and iOS apps

  • Tap “Goals” in the Menu (or “More” page)
  • Tap “Calories, Carbs, Protein & Fat Goals”
  • Or tap “Additional Nutrient Goals, ” to adjust additional micronutrient goals
